Technorati says there are now "27.2 million weblogs" Technorati, is a Weblog search engine. It's more than that, but that's enough. It's been tracking the explosive number of Weblogs for several years. "Eee, I remember the days when there were just us few bloggers..." Now, the blogosphere is doubling every 5 months. That means, in the Summer, there'll be nearly 60 million blogs!
Not all blogs are for life. Some start them and never return. Some are only updated sporadically. Some, like mine are continuously updated, nearly everyday. All this still adds up to a lot of web pages.
Think of 1996 when we thought anyone could make a website and compete on level terms with IBM (since they were late to the website game). Think now, of all those blog postings about anything and everything. Need to know if a product or service is any good? Do a blog search, see if some real person has an opinion. Real voices are that much more interesting.

Croft Community School are getting fit. The children have a skipping day. I like this sort of illustrative posting, just a few photographs and the idea is all that much more clear.
It's the way I post to my own blog, though I do it via email off my mobile phone, the principle is the same: pictures talk.
