300 mile road trip
From Telford to Chester, across to Prestatyn for a bit of training, and then down to Aberystwyth for a demo and a sale.

Via the most gorgeous countryside I've seen. Pity I had no time to pause. I was already late. Pity also I had run out of screen wash, so the dead bugs on the windscreen ruin the effect, maybe it adds to the ambiance?

Prestatyn news
From Prestatyn's Bodnant Infants, we've power for the people... They're on TV news!! Save their field!! The PTA were on the 6 'o'clock news last night. I guess the Welsh local news. I was still in Welsh Wales then—Aberystwyth, should have asked the nice Deputy Head to put the telly on! This goes with the local newspaper's story the previous night. Hope they can keep the pressure up.

We've also some excellent caricatures of the staff, drawn by the kids. Heh! Maybe they should have left the names off, and had a prize for the first person who gets all the names with the faces right?

And a visit to the beach by Year Two. Lucky people living so close to the sea!

News from Llandudno
Lots of good news out of Llandudno's Craig y Don, produced by the Head and two other members of staff. Good to see the 'burden' is spread by the staff. Though burden isn't the right word, since it's easy and good fun to publish to the world.

First, they've been presented £500 from Deganwy Quays Hotel. They get free linkage here too, for that :-)

Second, the year six page has some nice, new poetry.

Third a visit to the local church, lots learnt.
