Human trafficking in Leeds

Nice item from Pudsey Grangefield Maths and Computing College. On human trafficking, no less. A couple of the students have become interested in this issue and the Deputy Head has deemed it worthy of a front page post.
Interesting link too.

Crofty writers

More excellent work from Croft Primary in Walsall. Fantastic to see real kids' work. And this time one child has typed it up on a computer. I think this has been printed out, then scanned in?
Hopefully, these kids will be working on their own news items to post to the website. All they'd need to do is create a news item, but as they're only members they can't up it to the front page. They keep working on it at home or at school, while it sits in the pending news items awaiting an editor to up it to the front page.
Most excellent work though, both in the news posting, the teaching and the learning :-)

Two sites break the 1,000 human barrier!!!

| | Huge day! Now, had there been ads on these two 1,000 humans hits sites, that'd have been £108 for those 1,000 page views. It's interesting to note the number of member reads too. Obviously, many will be the posters of the updated news items, maybe some others of the members, commenters. Even Waterloo would have come close to £50 for the day's hits. |
